Tai chai has proven benefits of reducing pain, increasing strength and joint flexibility, improving balances and falls prevention. Classes on Thursdays for beginners, intermediate and advanced.
Exercises aiming to improve balance and maintain independence. Wednesday 1.30 – 3.30.
Low to moderate exercise including keep active, conditioning, strength. for people with muscular, skeletal, and neural conditions.
Gentle exercise group – chair based exercise for those with limited mobility are frail or have chronic conditions. Tuesdays 1-2.30pm and Thursdays 10.30-12.00.
U3A Knox – U3A Knox is a volunteer run community of semi-retired and retired people, providing classes and activities and the opportunity to make new friends in a relaxed and stimulating environment. They run walking groups on Monday and Wednesday – mainly short to medium in length.
Walks Victoria offers a free service to locate interesting walks in your local area. Just insert the name or postcode of the area you wish to search and click the search button. You will be amazed how many safe and lovely walks there arriendlye around your neighbourhood. The information provided lets you know which walks are dog-friendly, pram-friendly and child-friendly amongst other things.
