Bridges – Connecting Community

Many people in our community experience difficulty caring for their pets due illness, frailty or permanent disability.
The Pet Companion Program offers support and acknowledges the importance of companion animals in the home.

The Pet Companion Program is available to residents who are on an aged or disability pension and require assistance with the care of their pets.

Volunteers are carefully selected and matched to pets and owners, and provide assistance with a variety of pet care needs.
