Community Transport

Community Shopping Bus Knox City Council

Offers eligible clients the opportunity to shop independently at a local shopping centre, as well as the potential to be socially active with people living in their neighbourhood. The service is aimed at clients who live independently, who cannot drive, have no appropriate access to transport and who are able to shop without the assistance of a Support Worker.
The buses operate on a regular fortnightly or monthly basis.

Day Outings

Knox City Council

A regular schedule of community outings to various attractions, exhibitions, scenic drives, dining experiences and mystery tours. Excursion bookings are taken in advance, payment on monthly account.

Community Transport

Knox Council

Boronia On Demand bus service provides flexible, accessible and safe transport for Boronia seniors to and from their homes to selected activity areas.
Carers can use the service if accompanying an eligible client. Wednesdays 9am and 4pm. There will be four runs of the same route through the day. Drop off and pick up hubs at Boronia Rail/Bus interchange, Knox Private Hospital, Knox Westfield Shopping Centre and The Angliss Hospital. This service runs for a 12 month trial period from August 2019 – July 2020.

Telebus for residents of Lysterfield, Rowville and parts of Ferntree Gully. This bus service will pick you up at your driveway, return to its route and deliver you to Studfield Shopping Centre or Ferntree Gully Railway Station in peak hours.
